My Story
Hi, my name is Azel Solomon, and I am a dedicated student technician focused on lighting and sound for live performances. I have supported community college productions and interned at Texas A&M University, gaining valuable experience in cue sequencing, board operation, and live sound balancing.
What draws me to technical theatre is its precision, problem-solving, and creativity. I enjoy building cues and supporting the narrative from behind the scenes. Each production teaches me more about storytelling, collaboration, and the flow of live theatre.

My Production Experience
Assisted in building and installing scenic elements for stage productions, ensuring precision, safety, and timely completion. Collaborated with the technical team to support set changes and maintain production quality.
Contributed to the technical operations of large-scale outdoor performances, assisting with lighting, sound, and stage management. Supported production quality and ensured seamless technical transitions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Engaged in hands-on scenic design and construction for opera productions within an international training program. Developed technical and artistic skills in collaboration with professional designers and production staff, contributing to high-caliber performances in a professional theatre setting.
